Beginning user support for Sam Altman's new project “World” and “Worldcoin”

We have introduced the Orb, an iris authentication device dedicated to Worldcoin, and commenced support for users registering with the World App. This initiative forms part of our support for our clients' marketing strategy planning and execution.

Worldcoin is a cryptocurrency that can be received via the dedicated wallet app, World App. Tools for Humanity, the developer of Worldcoin, was founded by figures including Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI (known for developing ChatGPT), and is currently attracting significant attention across various sectors.

Orb is a spherical authentication device that scans the human iris to issue a unique World ID to each individual on the World App. Worldcoin is anticipated as a solution for realizing universal basic income, as cryptocurrency (WLD) is periodically distributed to World App users who have obtained a World ID.

Furthermore, distinguishing between AI and humans is expected to become increasingly difficult, raising concerns that AI-generated false testimony could become a future societal issue. In this context, World ID is also viewed as a promising solution for achieving highly accurate personal authentication, functioning as a digital passport.

Our company's goal in introducing Orb is to deepen our understanding of societal changes driven by technological advancement. We are particularly focused on the potential shifts in public awareness and behavior that could occur when Worldcoin's universal basic income and digital passport solutions are implemented in society.

Iris authentication via Orb can be experienced at the Weiden Haus office and at our dedicated qualitative research venue, “Interview Room Akasaka Weiden Haus.” (Temporarily suspended as of December 2024)
